If you go to an AMC theatre, most of them now have where you can purchase tickets with a debit card without standing in line. If tickets are being presold for a movie not out yet, or one already but you want to purchase it for a certain day, you select the day, it shows you the movies you can purchase tickets for that day, select the movie, select a time, select how many tickets, etc. and pay for tickets.
